Pastor Brian Goke shares Paul’s assertion that as builders of a healthy church it is important to manage resources in a balanced way. Both what we believe (orthodoxy) and how we behave (orthopraxy) are important. At the core is what we know to be true about The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. There are some teachings from scripture which Christians may address differently. There are false teachings that we must discern through God’s word and call out. Then there are controversies or arguments (adiaphora) that just do not matter for our lives or the life of the church. Paul also echoes Jesus’ direction for maintaining healthy interactions. Both what we believe and the way we share what we believe are important.
