Prayer

God instructs us to pray and it is our privilege to do so! Although God is sovereign and knows our needs and wants, he invites us into direct conversation so that we can strengthen our relationship with him. Through prayer we have opportunity to express our praise and gratitude to the holy and perfect God. We can humble ourselves before him and be honest about our fears, doubts, and shortcomings. We can pray even when we don’t think we have adequate words. We surrender and allow God to transform our minds and hearts.

We encourage our partners and friends to pray faithfully, transparently, and expectantly.

When we pray for others, we can be bound together by the powerful witness of his mercy and grace. In addition to praying together during worship, we have a team of people that will, through prayer and petition, present your requests to God.

If you would like us to pray for you specifically, please email us with as much or as little detail as you choose.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7
