Pastor Brian Goke outlines Paul’s Acts 17 bridge building approach to sharing the gospel with people in Athens who were far from God. Stepping into their worldview, Paul used receptor-oriented communication to share the gospel. Paul began where they were, affirming their interest and openness to learn. He then addressed their ignorance of the Creator God and built a spoken bridge between them and Jesus Christ. Similarly, we should be bridge builders for people who are far from God! We can start building those bridges by listening.
