Blessed to be a Blessing (Elisha)

Pastor Brian Goke discusses the strategy through which the great prophet Elijah “passed the baton” to Elisha. God’s call to Elisha came quickly and he obediently accepted. Then Elijah and Elisha shared a great deal of time together. At a moment appointed by God, Elisha was able to step right into his new role because Elijah had walked alongside and equipped him well. We have opportunity to grow disciples and leaders and the strategy we use matters. Through relational discipleship we share our lives and grow. In a similar manner, we intentionally help each other grow as leaders in the life of God’s church.
