Blessed to be a Blessing (Miriam)

Pastor Chris Townsend invites us to observe both Pentecost and Memorial Day, being thankful for the gift of the Holy Spirit and those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom to worship and bless others! Miriam, the first female prophet named in the Bible, blessed others by using her gifts and allowing God to work through her. She demonstrated an ability to manage situations and resources while ensuring the rescue of Moses. Miriam also led God’s people to praise him during a treacherous time. It’s important for us to understand our own gifts so that we may use them effectively for God’s glory too.
