Blessed to be a Blessing (Solomon)

Pastor Chris Townsend outlines Solomon’s wealth and wisdom, both gifts from God and both unsurpassed by the kings of the earth. These gifts allowed Solomon to have influence on other kingdoms as all sought his counsel. Throughout the Bible there are examples of wealth being used to build idols or, when used wisely, to glorify God. We are called to be good stewards of our financial resources and this requires wisdom. Growing in wisdom begins with reverence for God, seeking counsel of those God has placed around us, praying, and studying God’s word!
