Blueprint for a Healthy Church – 1

Pastor Brian Goke introduces Paul’s guidance for Titus to align gentile leaders in Crete so that they could effectively proclaim God’s truth. Paul does not lay out a list of “healthy church tasks”, but rather high standards of character to which church leaders should aspire. Character counts! As Paul points out, our hope is in Jesus Christ and we must daily surrender our own will. Like the church leaders in Crete, our most important contribution to the life our congregation is not what we do, but who we are becoming through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit!
