The Gospel of John 7:1-24

John Petrillo notes that Jesus’ brothers were most likely seeking public glory for him and themselves when they encouraged Jesus to go to Judea to show his works. Many today seek public glory by labeling opinion as “my truth”. Jesus tells us that to speak THE truth, we cannot seek personal glory but the glory of God alone. Speaking truth to grow God’s kingdom often comes with a price. Are we willing to pay it?
