Pastor Brian summarizes the path that began in the Garden of perfect, pleasant creation and led to the Garden of pressing, crushing affliction. In that Garden, Jesus knew full well what was to come and began to feel the literal weight of our sin. In His unparalleled anguish, Jesus momentarily asks the Father to contemplate another way to redeem mankind. But of course, Jesus fully submits his will to that of His Father and takes on our sin because He is THE Way.
