Blessed to be a Blessing (Esther)

Jim Pitzer outlines Esther which records the deliverance of the Jewish people from certain death through the actions of Mordecai and his cousin Queen Esther in ancient Persia. God is not named in the Book, but it is clear that he is present in all of the details. Like us, Mordecai and Esther were ordinary people with ordinary gifts and talents. However, God takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary, and that which is insignificant and gives it eternal significance! Do we recognize and acknowledge God’s intimate presence in our stories?
