The Bible from 35,000 Feet – Jeremiah

Pastor Brian Goke describes the prophet Jeremiah as a bullhorn speaking truth to power. He responded to God’s call and urged the nation of Judah to repent. Jeremiah engaged with the world but didn’t allow the noise or struggle to pull him away from God’s call. Like Jeremiah, each Jesus follower has a specific call lovingly planned by God before his/her birth. God chooses and invites unlikely people to do his work. When we respond, God moves through us and provides exactly what we need to carry out his plan. Our obedient response, in spite of inadequacies, reveals the glory to be God’s alone. What we have, or do not have, does not define what we can become in Jesus!
