Romans 7 – Renovaré

Pastor Brian Goke examines the tug of war between the old sinful nature and new spiritual nature in each of us. Even Paul wrote of his wrestling with these two conflicting natures. The law, part of holy and sacred Scripture given by God, is the foundation that our faith in Jesus Christ is built upon. The more we study and try to live into the law, though, the more we struggle with it. We can find ourselves at the point of sin cycle exhaustion. The struggle is real, but victory is possible in Jesus! We can acknowledge that we are not in control, surrender, and turn to Jesus for rescue. Alongside others, we can confess and help each other walk more deeply in the Spirit.
