Acts 15:1-12

Pastor James McMillion points to the inevitability of disagreement in the church and the importance of unity in the essentials. Based on what they witnessed God doing among the Gentiles and Peter’s own experience, the leaders resolved the contention of Acts 15. The church accepted the decision without allowing division to be sown. While we can’t compromise on the essentials for God’s mission, we can agree to disagree about the peripherals.
