Acts 8:1-24

Pastor Brian Goke describes how God used the difficult, painful experiences of the new church in Jerusalem to fulfill his purposes. As we live and encounter obstacles and challenges that hurt or overwhelm us, we can become embittered. Jealousy, disappointment, betrayal, hardship, loss, and personal failure can be the root of bitterness. God has greater purpose for us. The key to uprooting our bitterness is confessing and forgiving one another and ourselves. He can take our bitterness and restore, redeem, heal, reconcile, bear fruit, and renew us!
