Blessed to be a Blessing (John)

Pastor Brian Goke summarizes the totality of John’s long life of quiet leadership. Like John, we are not called to make Christians, but disciples of Jesus Christ. As such we must center our own lives around Jesus, remaining faithful even in the valleys and deserts. It is easy to forget that we are sinful, broken people living in enemy territory. There is therefore purpose in studying scripture, gathering in worship, and confessing our sin to God and one another. We each have an invitation to step into the gift of leadership that God gives us and wants us to use to serve and influence others toward the shared goal of discipleship – walking with Jesus!
