Joy to the World – 3

Pastor Brian Goke asserts that the way Mary responded in the face of an unexpected event is evidence that God’s true word was deep in her heart. Mary prayerfully acknowledged her need for a savior and that the awesome power of God alone would rescue her. Mary’s story is a part of God’s story and because she remembered God’s faithfulness, she recognized the potential in her situation. We too are invited to learn and remember God’s story and the history of his people. The more we dig deep into scripture, the more we can recognize God moving in the world and in our lives!
