Pastor Brian Goke explores Paul’s important words for the growing church at Ephesus. Paul reminds them that we all come into the world spiritually separated from God. Scripture is full of broken, sinful, unhealthy human relationships. Apart from the work of Jesus Christ, we’d remain separated. BUT GOD, despite our sin and darkness, comes into the world with a plan of rescue, forgiveness, and healing. He changes our trajectory and brings us to life in Jesus. We breathe in this gift but struggle mightily with breathing out and extending it to others. Jesus showed us over and over that forgiven people forgive people. Forgiveness is not optional for Jesus followers.
