The Gospel of John 18:1-27

John Petrillo points out that often we want God to be our co-pilot – conveniently at the ready when we think we need him. Instead, we must allow God to set our course, follow Jesus, and be at the ready to fulfill his purpose! We regularly fail in this. Like Peter, we deny Jesus. We deny him even when we live WITH Jesus instead of live FOR Jesus. The good news is God foresees our failure, forgives our failure, and uses even our failure for his purpose and glory!
