Acts 5:12-42

Pastor Brian Goke recounts 5 responses recorded in Acts 5 to the truth of Jesus. Crowds of people became believers and accepted truth. The powerful council attacked truth. While the teacher, Gamaliel, attempted to make concessions, he ultimately avoided truth. In spite of imprisonment and super-moon sized physical pain, the apostles affirmed truth. God didn’t free us from sin for our comfort, but for his purpose. As the church today, we too are commissioned to announce the truth of Jesus!
