Isaiah 58 – Renovaré

Pastor Brian Goke shares Isaiah’s admonition to the Israelites to consider their rebellion and the ways they broke the covenant relationship with God. God’s people deliberately turned away, but wanted recognition for their religious efforts. They cried out, not to give God glory and honor, but to get something from him. We aren’t different from the Israelites. There is often separation between our spiritual life and our daily living. Isaiah then offers hope by declaring God’s faithful desire for restoration and invitation for renewed covenant relationship living. Let’s seek the spiritual fuel of caring for and serving our new neighbors!
