Luke 16 – Renovaré

Pastor Brian Goke explores the context of Jesus’ teaching for Pharisees who put their trust, faith, hope in this world and their own accomplishments. In the parable recorded in Luke 16, Jesus describes the chasm between heaven and hell and contrasts the character and subsequent consequences of the lives of 2 men. While we wonder about the eternity that God set in our hearts, we can recognize victory in this parable. We are assured because we place our trust, faith, and hope in Jesus! He took the cross and we get the crown! God wants covenant relationship with humans and is patient so that all have the chance to repent and be with him.
