Pastor Brian Goke addresses the difficult topic of forgiveness. Judah and Joseph received vast blessings from their father, Jacob. Judah, who was far from perfect, stepped forward, humbled himself, and sought forgiveness and reconciliation with Joseph. Joseph chose to forgive his brothers’ outrageous actions. Forgiving someone is some of the most difficult work we have to do. We do the work because God has forgiven us and called us to do the same. We often cannot forgive on our own, but must invite the Holy Spirit to be our strength in the process. We breathe in God’s presence and forgiveness, and breathe it out onto others! There are blessings in forgiveness!
