Pastor Mark Messick encourages us to live into the mission of God – making disciples of Jesus. The Apostle Paul took the truth of the Gospel boldly into the lives and messy circumstances of others. His letters provide clarity for the message, motive, and methods for growing and becoming effective disciple makers. Paul discipled others by authentically sharing true words and his life. His focus on pleasing God alone and genuinely caring for others produced eternal results. The greatest use of our lives is investing in that which is eternal. Looking to Paul’s example, we can ask, “On whose lives can my fingerprints be found?”
