Pastor Brian Goke describes the Israelites’ watershed moment recorded in Numbers. In this defining moment, they had opportunity to trust God’s promises and protection stepping into the promised land; or live in fear remaining where they were or even turning back. Fear is contagious and memories are short. Like those who opposed Joshua and Caleb, we too can be distracted by fear. As a congregation, we’re in a watershed moment. We have opportunity to trust God’s promises and provision jumping to experience the joy of living fully immersed with him, and one another, in the deep water. Will we grab the rope swing?
