1 Peter 5 – Renovaré

Salt Church Director, Jonah, shares the living hope found in 1 Peter. In a difficult time in history when it would’ve been easier to shy away, Peter boldly called the church to a higher standard of obedience. The enemy used the distractions of circumstances to attack and attempt to pull people away from God. Satan still does today. Peter warns us to be alert to 2 strategic areas for enemy attacks – pride in the church and pride in our own hearts. With Jesus as our example, we must empty ourselves, put on humility, submit, and serve others. We have a living hope because we worship the same living God yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
